AN OCTAVA DEVELOPMENTS LIMITED PROJECT
COMPLETED IN 2016

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Octava Developments was the general contractor for the construction of the 65,000 sf commercial office building at 137 Venture Run.  Design was completed in coordination with all consultants, followed by creating and issuing all documents for tender.  Construction of the building started in April 2015, with completion in May 2016.  All construction work onsite was managed and coordinated by Octava, with weekly trade and consultant meetings held to review construction or design related questions. Project schedules for each trade, along with the project as a whole was monitored and reviewed for any "at-risk" item or task on a weekly basis. Construction of the building at 137 Venture Run also included the re-distribution of all site services, the installation of a new entrance and roadway to the building, along with the redesign and construction of the center courtyard area.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Construction of the 3,154 sf office space at 137 Venture Run started in September 2016, with completion in November 2016. Octava was responsible for coordinating the design of the space with the senior management team at ACCEL Physio and all consultants. Octava also managed the onsite construction with all sub-trades, completed a drawing set review, recommending changes or noting defficiencies where applicable.  The project schedule was tracked  to determine and monitor "at-risk" items and tasks.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
HGL worked closely with the senior management team at CAA Atlantic in all aspects of the construction of their new Atlantic corporate office in Dartmouth. The project began with site selection and negotiation of the purchase and sale for the lands. This work was coordinated with CAA, HRM and designated consultants. A construction partner (Lindsay Construction) was then selected for the design-build of a two story, 11,000 sf office space, with a 10,000 sf vehicle service center, including a car wash. Construction of the new building took place over seven months, starting in April 2015, with completion in October 2015.

HGL also managed the onsite construction with all sub-trades including drawing set review, recommended changes or efficiencies where applicable and tracked the project schedule to determine and monitor "at-risk" items and tasks.

Our firm was responsible for coordinating the design of the space with the senior management team at Wild Illsley and all consultants. HGL also managed the onsite construction with all sub-trades including drawing set review, recommended changes or efficiencies where applicable and tracked the project schedule to determine and monitor "at-risk" items and tasks.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Construction of the 5,138 sf office space at 100 Venture Run began in April 2013, with completion at the end of June 2013. HGL was responsible for coordinating the construction onsite with a general contractor (Lindsay Construction). Weekly meetings were held with Kraft Canada to discuss the construction process and address any design related questions. HGL was also responsible for reviewing drawing sets, recommending changes or efficiencies where applicable and tracking the project to determine and monitor "ato risk" items and tasks.

EXPANSION & UPGRADES

Digby / Liscombe / Cape Breton - Nova Scotia

PROJECT OVERVIEW
In 2002, the Resorts Management Nova Scotia Partnership retained the Hardman Group as Project Manager for the renovations and additions being made at the Digby Pines Resort, Liscombe Lodge and Keltic Lodge. The goal of the project was to enhance the marketability of the three resorts. The upgrades and additions included a new conference centre expansion, building of new chalets, air-conditioning upgrades, exterior/interior building upgrades, addition of spa facilities and golf course upgrades.
