The Hardman Group Limited (HGL) is a family-owned real estate and development firm in Atlantic Canada.  With 50+ years of experience, we consider ourselves experts across all real estate fields – leasing, brokerage, property management, consulting and development.  Our goal is to approach each and every project in our portfolio with vision, focus and an entrepreneurial spirit.  With  offices in Halifax, Moncton, Saint John and St. John’s, our firm is one of the most respected and recognized names in eastern Canada.  Our construction management division, Octava Developments Limited, oversees our projects with a focus on completion on time and on budget while our leasing team is one of the best in the field.

HGL has successfully completed the design, construction and subsequent management of many of the region’s high-profile commercial projects and adjacent parking facilities. Two of our recent developments include an eight-story residential/commercial building in downtown St. John’s, Newfoundland and a multi-phased office campus in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.  Our team has a broad range of experience operating a diverse portfolio of building types including retail, office, residential, institutional buildings as well as parking facilities.

The high cost of window cleaning for commercial and residential buildings led HGL to search for a "better way".... which ultimately led us to KTV Working Drone - a Norwegian company using drones for more efficient, faster and cost-effective cleaning.  The Hardman Group acquired the master franchise for Canada and the US in 2023 and are now bringing this technology to building owners across North America.  For more information on franchise opportunities or cleaning services, visit us at

Where We're Heading
Our firm look towards a positive future where we will continue to build on our team, our goals and our history of successful projects. We are confident that we will add many more “success stories” to our portfolio. This positive outlook is one of many things that set us apart.
