In 1995, the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts moved its central reservation department from Phoenix to a downtown Moncton office complex.

In 2001, a 30,000 sq ft building located next to Greater Moncton's traffic circle was renovated to house the Global Reservation Centre and create an environment that reflects the quality of their hotels. Fairmont have raised the benchmark in design, providing the facility the title the "Call Centre of Excellence" by Canadian Facility Management & Design. Over 300 employees at Moncton's Global Reservation Centre set the stage for a vacation of a lifetime for over 2.5 million callers each year. The Hardman Group has been providing property management services for the Reservation Centre since 2001.
