In September, 1998, The Hardman Group Limited, in partnership with J.W. Lindsay Enterprises Ltd., completed the construction of the 171,000 square foot Horton High School - the largest P3 high school in Nova Scotia. The project involved design, financing and construction, and also includes the operation and maintenance of the school for twenty years. The $26 million project was completed on time and under budget, and provides a high-tech interactive learning environment for more than 1,000 students. Horton High School has been the subject of North America's interest from educators, to politicians, to business people of all types with involvement in improving the delivery of education to young people. The facility is state of the art in every sense of the word and the demands of facility management in such a project are great.
