In October 1999, Canada's first major water treatment facility, built through a public private partnership between the City of Moncton and US Filter/The Hardman Group Limited, was completed. The 25,600 square foot facility houses a state of the art purification and filtration plant that, at full capacity, provides 30 million gallons per day. The $22 million water treatment plant provides the 100,000 residents of Greater Moncton with drinking water that exceeds the Canadian drinking water standards. For more information, contact
