In 1987,
the Maritime Life Assurance Company retained the Hardman Group to coordinate
all aspects of the design and construction of a new one-story, 127,000
square foot Head Office building in Halifax. The Hardman Group was instrumental
in the development of unique and functional solutions to the challenges
of positioning the new building on a small site that is shared with
the owner's original corporate Head Offices.

In 2001,
the former Halifax County Building, 2750 Dutch Village Road, was
purchased by Maritime Life to be included as part of their business
park. The Hardman Group was retained as Project Manager in the
reconstruction of this building. Construction began in March, 2002
and was completed in November, 2002
